5 babies under the age of 8 months, and one well-behaved 2 year old! Let me see if I can recap...
- Annalee drooled over her ENTIRE shirt. I should have put her in a bathing suit.
- Wyatt had a meltdown in the middle of the living room. Full on head-buried, kicking his legs, crying, dramatic-face meltdown. It only lasted a short while, but it then occured to me that they've started teething! There goes Mommy of the Year Award 2009.
- Celia went through 2 outfits, after first being naked for an hour.
- Our dear friends, Amy & David, brought over their two precious twin girls, Claire and Natalie, about 7 1/2 months old.
- Natalie was hilarious, with some super rock-star hair, and is the cutest little monkey! She gave me a glimpse of the action we're gonna experience when the babies get truly mobile!
- Claire was super sweet, observant, and mostly just looked at my kids wondering what was wrong with them.
- Lea and David brought big brother Joseph to play, and he was so good, especially being literally surrounded by 5 infants! At one point he choked on a piece of cheese. Never dull.
- And Aunt Shannon was referee, and did a fabulous job!
It was hilarious and exhausting, all at the same time. Wouldn't have missed it for the world, and look forward to our next date!
