Breaking News! There are two new parents out on the loose! Alert the authorities!
Nearly 6 months after these little bundles of joy came into our lives, and we are hitting the road! But don't fear, just for the weekend :)
For no special reason, Marc and I took up an offer to get away for a few days, and take some time for ourselves. This was a much appreciated and much needed opportunity! Where, you might ask, did we go on our super-exotic-glamorous-travel adventure? To a hotel about 25 miles away! HA!
We had the BEST time. Ate at some fabulous restaurants (The Remington, Mark's American Cuisine, Uptown Sushi...), slept a LOT, ordered room service, went shopping, and just enjoyed eachother... Although at one point, we did look like the biggest dorks, and caught outselves looking at our camera at pictures of the babies in the middle of a hotel bar LOL. It was definitely good for us to get away and spend some time with just eachother...
The babies were in the excellent hands of Grandma T and Aunt Jane... In fact, I do believe that the babies looked a little disappointed upon our return! :)
It was so weird being away from them, and we did miss those little munchkins like crazy! But we are so grateful for this past weekend, it was very much appreciated!!!!!!!!
