The zoo is doing so well! They were moved to another part of the NICU 2, due to construction. Of course, they slept through it all!
Marc and I met with the Occupational Therapist today to practice and learn Wyatt's way of feeding. He is really laid-back about eating, and is still learning the whole suck-swallow-breathe routine! He did so much better today, we were very proud of him!
Celia is doing great, she is just trucking along! The doctors will continue to watch her to make sure she is eating well enough to go home.
Annalee moved to an open crib today (no more isolette!), and she did awesome with that! She is regulating her own temperature just fine. We just need her to pack on some weight so we can bring her home!
All 3 babies gained weight since yesterday :)
Tomorrow Marc & I will take an infant CPR class that is required prior to discharge. We also meet with the Occupational Therapist again for Wyatt. And Miss Celia will take a carseat test (she will sit in her carseat for an hour on a monitor, and we will make sure she tolerates this okay). We will also receive carseat education. It will be a fun day, and we look forward to moving our little ones a little bit closer to discharge!
