This has been such a fun weekend! Grandma T & Grandpa both came into town on Saturday morning, and have been manning the troops! Grandpa is getting introduced to the "triplet way of life!" He has successfully fed and cared for the babies, and they totally love him.
Grandma & Grandpa watched the babies last night so that Marc and I could go to our dear friends' party (Kasey & Jack). Kasey introduced Marc and I over seven years ago, and it was so nice to see her and catch up with each other's worlds!
Today Tim & Karie came over with Baby Carlie, and we finally were able to exchange our Christmas gifts, and we had a fried food extravaganza! Shrimp so big they could walk and talk, it was wonderful! Grandpa is such the cook! It was a little crazy, with four infants, but the best kind of crazy.
The babies are VERY busy right now. Wyatt is steamrolling his little sisters, and even Annalee has rolled over! Her roll is a little more slow-motion, but she's a good 2 pounds lighter than her brother and sister! It is quite cute to watch her... You just have to be patient!
Wyatt is Mr. Happy. Seriously. The child never stops smiling. Especially if he sees you watching him! It's an all-out, ear-to-ear grin, complete with a dimple. It will melt your heart.
Celia is a little more serious, you have to work a little harder to get a smile, but when you get one, it's totally worth the while! She, too, has a dimple, and talks ALL the time. She surprised Marc and I the other day with the cutest laugh EVER!
Annalee is quite possibly the most adoring child ever. She watches you, smiles at you, and mimics you. If you smile, she smiles. She loves her Mommy & Daddy, and has the cutest wrinkled-nose grin. She is like a little baby doll.
There is no doubt that these children are their own little people. They are totally different, totally wonderful. Wyatt, Celia & Annalee are so busy, so happy, so funny... We are totally in love!!!!!!
