Pumpkin Patch 2010

Today we took the kids out to the Pumpkin Patch at Cypress United Methodist Church - what a difference a year makes!  Last year this time, they were in their stroller, and we tried to "arrange" them around some cute pumpkins for a picture.  Of course no one was looking at the camera, and it was a big freak show!  This year, they were everywhere!  At one point, all three were running into other people's photos, Marc and I were chasing them down!

They had a blast.  They were holding the little pumpkins like babies, trying to lift the giant ones, pointing at everything in sight, and they gathered about 20 pumpkins for us to take home (of course we kept putting most of them back when they weren't looking :)  I think their favorite pumpkin scene (or at least the one they are still talking about) was the Sesame Street scene.  Go figure :)  The also loved the barnyard scene, and the Wizard of Oz (lots of roaring here).

It was a lot of fun to see them so active, and have so much fun with such little effort on our part.  They loved the patch, and are still talking about the "big puh-kins" and the "itty bitty baby puh-kins!"

Here are some pictures from our big pumpkin adventure...

Hughes Family Fall 2010

Annalee, Celia & Wyatt

They really do love eachother :)

Wyatt found the one he wanted!  (The girls are still searching behind him)

They tried to pick it up themselves, but Daddy to the rescue!

Such a sweet boy!

Cypress United Methodist had some great scenes for the kids!

Taking it all in...

Two little pumpinks in the land of many...

So silly!

The kids loved the Wizard of Oz scene.  Annalee kept roaring...

We're not sure if we really like this big turkey...

Nope, don't like it!  Get us off!

Busy busy busy...

Showing Mommy everything!

That's all she wrote...  Happy Fall!
