Carlie's Baptism - Church, Family & Poofy Dresses!

Marc and I might have actually lost our minds. We woke up early this morning (and I mean early) to get the babies fed and diapers changed, and then loaded up the excursion to attend Miss Carlie Jean's baptism... I'm not sure what we were thinking, bringing 3 10-week-olds to church, but we were optimistic! Of course we got there early, and proceeded to change diapers, and put poofy dresses, tights, hair bows and flower socks on the girls... in the car... You know, you think an excursion is big... until you turn it into a kitchen, bathroom, and changing room for 3 infants! And we dressed Mr. Wyatt in checkered pants, shoes, a long-sleeved polo and a sweater vest... They were really cute!

Another brave moment... have 2 adults bring 3 infants! Again, not really sure what we were thinking, I guess we figured we could find someone in the parking lot to carry one in?!? We ended up bribing Karie's cousin, Niki, to carry Celia into the church. Once in the church, Karie's dad immediately took Celia without hesitiation, which was super helpful! She then got passed to Karie's mom, and then took communion (but no wine :) Of course Celia sucks on her pacifier so stinkin' loud (picture Maggie from The Simpsons), everyone was staring at us! At about that time, Annalee got the hiccups, and she and I had to excuse ourselves... Wyatt was sleeping in Daddy's arms, as if nothing was going on. Overall, the babies did awesome! No major blow-ups or blow-outs, they were so cute! Carlie looked adorable, and was a perfect little angel

We headed over to Tim & Karie's afterwards to celebrate, visit and eat pizza... and of course take pictures! We survived our first trip to church... (God had mercy on us!) Yea!
